Before getting a CoolSculpting Treatment
Your specialist will need to determine if you are a candidate. Everybody is different, which is why your technician must work with you to develop a customized treatment plan for your body. This begins with a complimentary consultation, where we assess your areas of concern and map out a customized treatment plan for you. For some, this only means 1-2 areas, for others this can mean full body correction. We have multiple size and shape applicators to smooth and contour your areas of concern.
It is important to realize
CoolSculpting is not an alternative to living a healthy lifestyle. Working out, eating healthy, and drinking lots of water help to shrink your fat cells. CoolSculpting is a non-invasive treatment that eliminates 20-30% of frozen fat cells. After the age of 18-21, your body ceases to produce fat cells, so once they are eliminated, they’re gone for good.
Wondering where the fat goes?
It’s excreted through the Lymphatic system! This is the body’s way of getting rid of cellular waste, along with maintaining body fluids and absorbing digestive tract fats. It is key to drink water, eat lots of vegetables and wear compression to help drain the lymph from your body. We also recommend lymphatic massage, which will promote fat reduction.
How long until I see results?
Typically, the area swells immediately after treatment, which is good! This means that the fat cells have been frozen and killed. Within the first week, fat cells begin to leave your body and continue within the next 12 weeks after treatment. Some side effects include temporary redness, swelling, blanching, bruising, firmness, tingling, stinging, tenderness, cramping, aching, itching, or skin sensitivity, and sensation of fullness in the back of the throat after submental or submandibular area treatment.
How much does it cost?
Treatments begin at $750, but more treatment areas mean a larger discount. Therefore, we recommend getting a free treatment plan, laying out treatment options, and a pricing list. Financing options are available through Care Credit.
